The short version: MetricWallet has no accounts, no logins, and no forms that ask for your name or email. This policy covers the limited data involved in running the site.
Nothing personal. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information, and we store no user profiles.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site — for example, which pages are visited and what kinds of devices people use. Google may collect your IP address and set cookies (such as _ga) to do this. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. You can opt out with browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Live stock quotes load directly in your browser from CNBC's public quote service, and our server fetches historical price data once daily to build performance baselines. Neither process sends us your personal information or stores anything about you.
Some outgoing links — for example, links to brokerages on our ranking page — may be affiliate links. Clicking one takes you to the third party's site, which may set cookies or track the referral under its own privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
We set no advertising cookies of our own. The only cookies involved are those from Google Analytics (described above) and any set by third-party sites you visit through outgoing links.
We do not sell personal information. We share no personal information with third parties beyond what is described above (analytics processing by Google).
MetricWallet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
